Message

Prayer:  O God, on this day of remembrance, as we pause to remember the wars of the past and all who have served faithfully, we pray in thanksgiving.
On this day as we remember people and places around the world caught in cycles of war and violence, we pray for peace.
On this day when we remember the victims of war: homeless refugees; hungry children; and grieving families; and we pray for hope.
Today as we offer you our praise and our prayers, giving thanks for our own peace and security, we pray for peace, justice, and shalom for all your children.
O God, hear our prayers. Amen. (Source? )
