Announcements for Sunday, April 14th, 2019

Huntingdon will be holding its Spring Luncheon on Thursday, April 18^th from 11:00-1:00, offering ham, scalloped potatoes, salads, and desserts at a cost of $15 dollars for adults, $5 for ages 5-12, and under 5, free.  Takeouts are also available.  Please call 450-264-5636. 

Howick United Church Spring Luncheon - Saturday, April 27, 2019. Serving from 11:30 - 1:00. Adults: $14; Ages 5 to 12: $7; and under 5: free. Take-outs are available.

 Also April 27^th: Franklin Firemen’s Pancake Supper at Franklin School, starting 5pm

Volunteers are needed by Communic-action to transport and possibly assist an elderly person with his or her grocery shopping.  For more information, please contact the Communic-action Project at 450-264-5197.

The Madrigal Choir is presenting Gospel, Country and Folk this spring! They will perform a selection of songs including well-known favourites such as Lean on Me, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Nuit D’été and Un Canadien Errant. The first concert will be held in St-Romain Catholic Church in Hemmingford at 8:00 p.m on May 10^th. The second will take place in Saint-Malachie’s Catholic Church in Ormstown at 8:00 p.m. on May 11^th. Tickets are 15$ per person for each concert (free for children 12 years old and under). Refreshments will be served. Donations of food or money for local food banks welcomed. See the press on the bulletin board for more details.
