Foot Care for a Solid Foundation on Monday, April 3 from 9 am to 3 pm at the Tres-Saint-Sacrement Municiple Hall.

Quebec Presbytery will be holding a Youth Forum for high school and CEGEP youth April 7-9 at Lennoxville United Church.  The cost for the weekend is $50.  For more information, please contact Shanna Bernier at shanna.bernier@gmail.com or at 819-791-1974.  Registration forms are posted on the bulletin boards of our churches. 

Together 2000 Choir performs April 8th, 7:00 pm at Georgetown Presbyterian Church. See poster for details.

St Columba House is holding its 100th Anniversary Gala  on Thursday, April 27th at the Theatre paradoxe, featuring Sylvie Degroseilliers.  Cost is $125 for Supper and Show with a $95 tax receipt provided.  For more info, please check the flyer on the bulletin board. 

Keep in mind, Howick United Church will be holding its Spring Luncheon Saturday, April 29th from 11:30-1pm. 

 Howick will be hosting our next combined service, on April 30th with fellowship time beginning at 10:30 in the hall.  We will be welcoming a guest speaker, Patricia Lisson, the Director of St Columba House in Montreal. 

We have heard from the United Church that they have launched an Extreme Hunger Appeal to respond to the famine in Kenya, Nigeria, Somalia, South Sudan, and Yemen.  We are invited to learn more about the situation, to hold the people of these countries in our prayers, and if we can make a donation, we can contribute online through the church’s website: w.united-church.ca; by phone with a credit card at 1-800-268-3781, ext.2738; or by mail with a cheque to The United Church of Canada, philanthropy Unit—Emergency Response, 3250 Bloor St West, suite 300, Toronto, ON, M8X 2Y4. 

Communic-Action is once again requesting volunteers to help elderly community members to perform ordinary tasks such as grocery shopping and be a friendly presence in their lives.  For more information, please call 450-264-5197.
